University of Baguio, Cardinals Gym – The University of Baguio recently held its Christmas event, called “UB Gifts,” which is a heartwarming initiative aimed at bringing joy and inspiration to children from different schools. The School of Teacher Education and Liberal Arts Student Body officers showcased their creativity in the materialization of a child’s Christmas dream through creating a Christmas booth that not only provided smiles for the children, but also showered them with sweets, gifts, and an unforgettable experience.
The STELA SB’s “Santa’s Workshop” booth which was designed to captivate the imagination of the children, the booth adorned with twinkling lights, colorful ornaments, and a visit from Santa Claus. The booth captivated the imagination of the young visitors, and as the children and their families stepped inside, they were greeted with joyous smiles from Santa’s Helpers who guided them through a series of delightful activities. From taking pictures with Santa Clause, to participating in fun games and crafts, the STELA SB ensured that every child had a magical experience.
One of the standout features of the booth was the Painting Station, where both children and adults could showcase their creativity by decorating small pots provided by the student body. This hands-on activity not only engaged participants but also ignited a sense of accomplishment and pride. Another highlight of the station was the Face- Painting Feature. Here, participants of all ages could request festive designs to be painted on their faces, embracing the Christmas spirit through colorful and artistic expressions.



With that, the “UB Gifts” event was more than just a fun-filled day, it was a testament to the University of Baguio’s commitment to community service and social responsibility. By providing a platform for children to experience the magic of Christmas. As the event drew to a close, the smiles on the faces of the children were a testament to the success of “UB Gifts”. The STELA Student Body officers’ hearts were filled with excitement and joy as they would remember this event for years to come.
