The School of Teacher Education and Liberal Arts (STELA) of the University of Baguio has signed a Memorandum of Agreement with Kias Elementary School, marking its second partner school for outreach and community programs. Led by Mr. Norman Patiang and Dr. Antonio Mangaliag, the partnership highlights STELA’s ongoing commitment to use its skills and resources to support local schools and strengthen ties with the community.
The spotlight lit up the UB Centennial Hall on October 8, 2025, as the BA Communication program hosted The Sequel: CUErtain UP, a theater workshop on acting techniques led by Katherine Mae Nobleza-Estavillo, Artistic and Festival Director of Tanghalang SLU. The event brought students back to the essence of acting, not just performance, but presence, honesty, and connection. Through movement, emotion, and voice, participants learned that the stage is more than a platform; it’s a place to find truth and tell stories that matter.
