STELA DAY AND NIGHT Pageant 2025: The Battle of Victors

The School of Teacher Education and Liberal Arts held its annual STELA Day and Night last October 13, 2025, at the University of Baguio Gymnasium. This year’s event was inspired by The Hunger Games, showing the strength, courage, and passion of every contestant in every competition.

The pageant proper started at 3:00 pm; it was officially opened with a lively opening production, where candidates showed their creativity through their dance performance. After that, the candidates shared their advocacies, expressing their thoughts and the SDGs they stand for. It was followed by the talent portion, where each candidate surprised the audience with their amazing skills and beautiful performances.

In the evening wear segment, everyone looked stunning in their elegant outfits, showing confidence and poise. The final part was the question and answer portion, where candidates proved their intelligence and grace under pressure. After an exciting competition, Mr. BA Communication and Ms. Psychology took home 2nd runner-up, while Ms. BA Communication and Mr. Political Science were hailed as the 1st runner- up.

Kyra Kelly from BA Political Science was crowned Miss STELA 2025, while Rodvans Gilbuela from BS Psychology won Mr. STELA 2025, making it a back-to-back victory for the Psychology department. The event also featured the farewell walk of last year’s reigning Mr. and Ms. STELA, Gabrielle Batalla and Natasha Rivera, as they gracefully ended their reign. The STELA Day and Night Pageant was a successful event, showing the beauty, talent, confidence, and intelligence of the STELA.
