The University of Baguio held Dapit UBiano 2025 with the theme “Retracing Footsteps in the
Familiar.” The event brought together different schools, departments, and student organizations to celebrate tradition, culture, and collaboration through booth exhibits and other exciting activities.
As one of the participating schools, the School of Teacher Education and Liberal Arts (STELA) joined the event with the combined efforts of the STELA Student Body, Politis, UB Psyche Org, E.L.I.T.E., Shakespearean Society, and The Mediatrix Society. These organizations worked together to create the STELAunion Booth, which was inspired by the province of La Union.
The booth featured beach-themed decorations, bright colors, and fun elements that gave off the relaxing and joyful feeling of being by the sea. It became a space where students could enjoy the vibes of La Union without leaving the campus.
What made this booth meaningful was not just the design but the process of building it. The event gave a chance for different STELA organizations to work together as one team. Each group shared ideas, helped in the setup, and supported one another all throughout. The experience highlighted how unity can lead to creative outcomes.
Dapit UBiano 2025 became more than just a university event. For STELA, it became an opportunity to show that even with different backgrounds and focuses, every organization has something valuable to contribute. The teamwork behind the STELAunion Booth showed how talented and collaborative the STELA community can be.
