UB STELA Leaders Shine at Youth Congress: Empowering the Future, One Insight at a Time

The STELA Student Body officers of the University of Baguio showcased academic excellence and social responsibility at the BY4GG Youth Congress in Baguio City. Through meaningful discussions and cultural exchanges, these dynamic leaders are inspired to drive positive change in their community.

Albergo Hotel, Villamor Drive, Baguio City – A group of young, dynamic leaders from the University of Baguio (UB) recently made their mark at the Youth Congress hosted by BY4GG. The delegation, composed of officers from the School of Teacher Education and Liberal Arts (STELA) Student Body, showcased the best of UB’s academic excellence and relevant social skills.

The Youth Congress, a platform for young minds to converge and discuss pressing issues, provided the perfect opportunity for the STELA SB officers to share their insights and experiences. As future leaders, they actively participated in various discussions, workshops, and cultural exchanges.

The UBian delegates were particularly impressed by the emphasis on community engagement and social responsibility at the Youth Congress. This aligned perfectly with UB’s commitment to producing well-rounded individuals who are not only academically proficient but also socially conscious.  

“Our time at the University of Baguio has equipped us with the knowledge and skills to make a positive impact on our community,” said Vexie Gabol, 3rd Year Councilor. “The Youth Congress gave us a platform to apply what we’ve learned and connect with like-minded individuals.”

The STELA SB officers returned from the Youth Congress inspired and motivated to continue their journey as leaders. They are determined to use their experiences to drive positive change within their organization and the wider community.
