The School of Teacher Education and Liberal Arts (STELA) once again celebrated its annual STELA Day and Night, an event that highlights the talents, confidence, and creativity of its students. One of the most anticipated parts of this celebration is the Mr. and Ms. STELA Pageant, which brings together representatives from different programs to compete for the title.
This year, the STELA Student Body organized successfully organized the Pre-Pageant for Mr. and Ms. STELA 2025, giving the sixteen (16) candidates an opportunity to showcase their poise, grit, and advocacies across three (3) major segments of the said pre-pageant competition.
The event opened with the Swimwear Competition, where each candidate confidently graced the stage, radiating confidence and stage presence that kept the venue at an all-time energy high because of the captivated audience.
In the Creative Wear Competition, the spotlight shifted to the student-centered nature of the event, the artistry, and the resourcefulness of STELA students. Every detail may it be from their makeup and styling to their costumes, everything was conceptualized and crafted by the students themselves. Each creative wear, designed by students from the candidates’ respective programs, reflected not only creative craftsmanship but also proving that STELA students are both talented and resourceful.
















The night concluded with the Question and Answer (Q&A) portion, where the candidates answered questions related to their chosen Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Through this segment, they were able to express their advocacies and perspectives on pressing social issues, demonstrating the intelligence and empathy of the candidates.
Overall, the Mr. and Ms. STELA 2025 Pre-Pageant was a remarkable showcase of talent, purpose, and unity. It was not just a celebration of beauty, but also of purpose, teamwork, and student excellence.
