The University of Baguio Psychology Department held its first year-end party and a tribute to the graduating seniors outside the campus on April 21, 2025, at the Diamond Grand Ballroom, Hotel Supreme. Themed “Psyche Wears Prada,” the event drew inspiration from the renowned film The Devil Wears Prada, blending elegance and creativity to celebrate the department’s vibrant community.
For this academic year, the Seniors’ Tribute and year-end party was organized with the long-standing tradition of fostering camaraderie and unity among Psychology students. It marked the first tribute to seniors organized by the lower-year students of the UB Psyche Organization under the leadership of the organization’s president, Ms. Eubelle Agpes.

The evening featured a series of engaging performances, including a cultural dance showcasing the heritage of Kalinga province, followed by a spirited community dance that brought together professors and students. The night’s highlight was the heartfelt tribute to the graduating seniors, with the lower years expressing their gratitude for the mentorship and guidance provided by the graduating batch.
After dinner, the festivities continued with a fashion show featuring selected students as candidates for special awards such as the Urban Chic Award, Miranda Priestly’s Award, and Star of the Night, with honors given to both male and female participants. The judging criteria for the fashion show emphasized the aesthetic appeal and relevance to the respective themes of each candidate’s outfit, as well as their poise and confidence in presenting their attire.

The night culminated in a lively social soiree where students and professors danced to upbeat tunes, enjoying the energetic atmosphere. The students also had the opportunity to share slower, more intimate moments on the dance floor through slow dances, creating a perfect balance of fun and connection.
This memorable event exemplifies the University of Baguio’s commitment to balanced, quality education within a fun and inclusive environment, allowing students to build meaningful connections beyond the classroom.
